Cascina Cuccagna is a Milanese complex with restaurant, shops and kitchen'garden. It is a preserved building of an old farm house with its history.

Our aim was to reorganize a project area around it without destroying Cascina's uniqueness. Consequently was created a complex, which consists of a residential and office building connected with Cascina by garden and exhibition space. 

Residential building mainly consists of duplex apartments, gym and open space, with hidden garden which emphasizes the entrance. We accurately selected the trees for each part of an area.

Office building consist of an open grid plan. Appendix part of 3 floors is a shop area. Moreover the difference between these two parts of a building is underlined with an open path which leads directly to the Cascina's entrance.

An open space of a whole site is a garden with unique sub-function - street furniture exhibition space. So the space becomes an interactive area, where residents, office workers and visitor can experience different furniture and enjoy the beauty of a nature.
